The Narbal-Wadwan Bridge over the Nallah Sukhnag in central Kashmir's Budgam district, which collapsed in the last month of August, will be restored for vehicular movement within 10 days.

Mohammad Ashraf Bhat, an Executive Engineer from the R & B Department, Budgam, told the Rising Kashmir that the old Narbal Wadwan bridge, which collapsed on August 5th last month, will be restored for traffic movement within 10 days.

"The other under-construction bridge at the same location will also be completed in this financial year." As there was an urgent need for repair of the old bridge, as most of the areas were disconnected after the bridge collapsed upon the Nallah Sukhnag," he said.

Bhat informed that the Peth Makhama bridge in the Magam tehsil, which has been closed for traffic movement for the last two months, will also be repaired. The department is going to issue a tender in this regard within a few days.
