J&K Hoteliers Club Chairman said newly appointed advisor Baseer A Khan visited several places and took the stock of this grave situation which is highly commendable.
“Government should ensure strict lockdown and tap the movement of the travellers visiting Kashmir form outside the State. Many laborers have also infiltrated into Kashmir from various states recently whose movement need to be checked to prevent the spread of this virus.â€
Chaya said if people stay indoors, they not only save themselves but also their family members and other people who they meet and can get infected.
J&K Hoteliers Club also urged the Government of India and LG Administration for the immediate restoration of the 4G services, and maintain 24x7 power and water supply besides other essential services should be uninterrupted.Â
“Entire population is under lockdown and most of the broadband services are installed only at offices. People use mobile data for the access of the vital information which is very crucial at this time of crisis. Government should immediately restore the 4G services so that they can utilize it for useful information and patients can also be benefited. The services are also required for the students who have not been to school or college for the past eight months. High speed internet can help them remain updated with their academic curriculum.
