KTMF delegation visits fire affected traders in Maisuma

 Kashmir Traders & Manufacturers Federation (KTMF) has expressed sorrow and dismay over destruction caused due to fire at Red Cross Road Srinagar in a fire incident on Sunday early morning.

“Half a dozen shops were gutted in a fire that broke out at Red Cross Road market Maisuma on Sunday. The fire broke out on in early dawn hours on Sunday in Maisuma area of Srinagar. The cause of the fire is however not known yet”, Abdul Majeed Bhat President of the local shopkeepers association said.

Expressing solidarity & sympathy with the affected traders, Kashmir Traders & Manufacturers Federation (KTMF) delegation today visited the Red Cross Road market of Maisuma to express their concern with the fire affected traders and took a stock of the damage caused by the deadly blaze.

The delegation expressed sorrow over the huge loss of property in the tragic fire incident and sought immediate compensation for the fire victims in these testing times of COVID-19 pandemic.

KTMF impressed upon the administration to assess the damages to property and recompense the losses to traders at an earliest.
