  1. Adequate Calories, Proteins and Fat for energy, adequate milk production and development of brain and nervous system.
  2. Micronutrients like Vitamins and minerals in adequate amounts so that the babies receive good nourishment for growth
  3. Breast milk helps with weight reduction, there is no need to “DIET”
  4. Hydration helps with milk production and keeping the mother energized.
