Democratic Azad Party chief Ghulam Nabi Azad and his wife Shamima Dev Azad expressed deep shock and grief over the passing of Kashmiri poet Rehman Rahi on Monday.

The DAP Chief has expressed his deep shock over the demise of Rehman Rahi and prayed for eternal peace for his departed soul.

It is to note here, Kashmir’s foremost poet and Gayanpeth awardee, Prof Rehman Rahi is no more. He died during the wee hours at his Vicharnag residence in Srinagar during wee hours. He was nearly 98.
