DG BSF reviews operational preparedness along IB in Jammu

JAMMU, Jan 10: The Director General (DG) of the Border Security Force (BSF), Nitin Agrawal, conducted a thorough review of the security situation and operational preparedness of the troops along the International Border (IB) in various frontiers of the Jammu region.

During his visit to areas proximate to the International Border, Agrawal assessed the security situation and operational readiness in collaboration with senior BSF officials. Currently on a visit to the Jammu region, Agrawal received a briefing from DK Boora, Inspector General, BSF, Jammu frontier, regarding the prevailing security scenario.

Subsequently, the DG BSF visited multiple border outposts in Jammu's Akhnoor sector, urging the troops to maintain effective domination to meet challenges emanating from across the frontier. In his visit to RS Pura border areas, Agrawal was briefed by Sector Commander and Battalion Commandants about the security scenario and the operational duties faced courageously by troops in the R S Pura area.

The BSF DG was apprised of the comprehensive domination strategy employed by the BSF along the IB. During his interactions with the jawans, Agrawal commended them for their dedicated and professional performance in carrying out their duties.
