Rajouri, Dec 06: Vice Chancellor Baba Ghulam Shah Badshah University (BGSBU) Prof Akbar Masood congratulated the countrymen on India assuming the G20’s Presidency for one year till November 30, 2023, terming it a matter of pride for every citizen of the country.

Prof Akbar said India is now chairing a group of countries whose economic potential represents 85 percent of the world’s GDP, 75 percent of the world’s trade, and two-thirds of the world’s population.

“The world has realized potential India has in leading the globe,” he said. “This occasion has brought us an opportunity to lead the world and provide the best solutions for various global issues.”

The VC said every student, staff, and faculty at BGSBU is proud of this national achievement. 

The logo of G20 has been painted at a very prominent place in the university. It has become a popular selfie point among students, scholars, faculty, and staff of the university.
