Loaded drone shot down near LoC in Rajouri 

131 rounds of AK-47 , 5 magazines , ₹ 2 lakh recovered

Srinagar, Apr 13: Security forces on Thursday brought down a loaded drone after it crossed the Line of Control (LoC) in Beri Pattan area of Sunderbani sector in Rajouri . 
Nearly 2 lakh cash, 131 rounds of AK-47 , 5 magazines were recovered, officials said.
Defence Public Relation Officer, Lieutenant Colonel Devender Anand told Rising Kashmir that on the intervening night of April 12-13, Army along with J&K Police recovered a drone crossing the Line of Control (LoC) from Pakistan into Indian territory in Beri Pattan area of Sunderbani sector in Rajouri district.
“Nearly 131 rounds of AK-47 , 5 magazines, ₹ 2 lakh in cash have been recovered. The search operations were carried out in the area,” he said, adding that it is a major success for security forces in the region.
“Following the recovery of the drone and ammunition, the security forces launched a massive search operation in nearby areas to track the suppliers. All angles are being investigated and we are also coordinating with J&K police to track the suspects,” the Army officer said.
CASO also launched a massive Cordon and Search Operation (CASO) in villages of Rajouri after movement of drones was tracked by locals and police.
On April 9,  one foreign infiltrator and two others persons were captured alive in Shahpur area of Poonch sector. Around 14 packets of Narcotics weighing approximately 17 kgs, Pakistan currency, some documents, and eatables were recovered from their possession.
