Srinagar, June 7, 2023 - The Srinagar Smart City Limited is making remarkable strides in enhancing the appeal of Srinagar through its restoration and conservation efforts on the heritage ghats along the picturesque River Jhelum.
Under the ambitious Srinagar Smart City Project, the CEO of Smart City, Athar Aamir Khan, has revealed that the restoration work on 19 ghats in the old city is nearing completion. This initiative aims to revive these important public spaces, reconnect the city with the river, and develop infrastructure to support water transport.
