Srinagar, March 19 : Jammu and Kashmir is bracing for more rain and snow, with the Met Centre Srinagar forecasting intermittent light to moderate rain and snow at most places on March 19-20.
Higher reaches of Chenab valley and South Kashmir may receive moderate to heavy snowfall. The region saw significant precipitation in the past 24 hours, with Gulmarg receiving 23 cm of snow and Baramulla recording 29.5 mm of rainfall.
Travellers and transporters are advised to plan accordingly, as there’s a possibility of heavy rain, snow, and gusty winds . Farmers can resume operations from March 21 onwards.
